This weekend, I attended the annual Gala for the Rwandan Travel and Tourism Chamber (RTTC), whose members include tour operators, hotels & lodges, tourism destinations and the major airlines serving Rwanda.

During the cocktail hour, our Experience Manager, Delice Umutesi, and I worked the room. We heard over and over again how excited the operators are to book their guests for a tour and taste at Virunga Mountain Spirits. Many have been following our construction progress for over a year.

Yves Ngenzi, RTTC’s CEO, gave Virunga Mountain Spirits a shout out during his remarks, welcoming us to the Rwanda travel and tourism sector. We are honored to be part of this exceptional community.

This week we also posted our new launch video on social media. Please click on the link HERE to see us in action. As I noted in my last blog, it’s been a long and challenging path to see our vision come to life. We hope the images convey the beauty of our surroundings and some of the amazing people behind our brand.

We are finalizing details for our Grand Opening set for December 12, 2024. We are expecting around 20 of our investors and a number of Rwandan officials and leaders to join us for this happy occasion. Many thanks to all of you for your continued support. We would not be here without you.
